Παρουσία του βουλευτή Επικρατείας της ΝΔ, Γ. Σταμάτη
Ο Δήμος Χαλανδρίου φιλοξένησε το καταληκτικό συνέδριο του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος «pROceed goes practice» για την κοινωνική ένταξη και ενίσχυση της απασχόλησης των Ρομά, με τη συμμετοχή όλων των εταίρων του προγράμματος, από Γερμανία, Ουγγαρία, Σλοβακία, Ρουμανία, Σερβία, Βουλγαρία, Β.Μακεδονία, Ελλάδα καθώς και εκπροσώπων δημόσιων και ιδιωτικών φορέων από την Ελλάδα και τις χώρες εταίρους.
Παρουσιάστηκαν όλες οι καλές πρακτικές, οι μέθοδοι εκπαίδευσης, το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και οι δράσεις που υλοποίησαν οι εταίροι, στο πλαίσιο του τριετούς προγράμματος που αφορούσε στον επαγγελματικό προσανατολισμό των Ρομά, την εξειδίκευση τους σε συγκεκριμένες θεματικές και την προώθηση τους στην αγορά εργασίας.
Ο Δήμος Χαλανδρίου, ως εταίρος του προγράμματος, παρουσίασε τα αποτελέσματα του έργου, το οποίο υλοποιήθηκε από την Κοινωνική Υπηρεσία, το Παράρτημα Ρομά και την υπηρεσία Περιβάλλοντος, σε συνεργασία με την ΚΟΙΝΣΕΠ ένταξης ΠΡΑΣΙΝΟΤΕΧΝΙΚΗ.
Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος εκπονήθηκε οδηγός σπουδών και εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για εκπαιδευτές και για εκπαιδευόμενους (πιστοποιημένο από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Szeged και του MASTER KEK), ψηφιακό εργαλείο αυτοαξιολόγησης. Για τις ανάγκες του προγράμματος εκπαιδεύτηκαν 4 υπάλληλοι του Δήμου ως εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων ενώ 20 Ρομά, από το Χαλάνδρι, εκπαιδεύτηκαν στην παροχή υπηρεσιών καθαριότητας και υπηρεσιών πρασίνου δημοσιών χώρων. Οι Ρομά που συμμετείχαν στην εκπαίδευση, έκαναν την πρακτική τους στην ΚΟΙΝΣΕΠ Ένταξης ΠΡΑΣΙΝΟΤΕΧΝΙΚΗ και μετά την ολοκλήρωση της προσελήφθησαν με κανονική σχέση εργασίας.
Τους συνέδρους καλωσόρισε ο αντιδήμαρχος Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης Κώστας Ευθυμίου, υπογραμμίζοντας τη σημασία της απασχόλησης στη διαδικασία ομαλής κοινωνικής ένταξης των Ρομά και εκφράζοντας θερμές ευχαριστίες προς όλους/ες όσοι/ες συνέβαλαν καθοριστικά στην επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος.
Ομιλίες
Χαιρετισμό στο συνέδριο απηύθυνε ο δήμαρχος Χαλανδρίου Σίμος Ρούσσος, ο οποίος επαναβεβαίωσε την αποφασιστικότητα με την οποία ο Δήμος εργάζεται για την ομαλή κοινωνική ένταξη, ενσωμάτωση και ενδυνάμωση των Ρομά σε θέματα εκπαίδευσης, απασχόλησης και υγείας, εφαρμόζοντας την εθνική στρατηγική. Σημείωσε ωστόσο ότι η συστηματική προσπάθεια που γίνεται την τελευταία δεκαετία στο Χαλάνδρι, δεν έλαβε ποτέ την αναγκαία στήριξη από το κεντρικό κράτος.
Την αξία του προγράμματος «pROceed goes practice» εξήρε από την πλευρά του ο βουλευτής Επικρατείας της ΝΔ και τέως γ.γ. Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης και Καταπολέμησης της Φτώχειας κ. Γιώργος Σταμάτης, ο οποίος τόνισε, μεταξύ άλλων, πόσο σημαντικό ήταν να πάρουν οι Ρομά όλη την αναγκαία υποστήριξη, προκειμένου στο τέλος του προγράμματος να έχουν ίσες ευκαιρίες στην αγορά εργασίας, να μπορούν να δημιουργήσουν δουλειές και να χτίσουν μια νέα ζωή. Υπογράμμισε επίσης ότι η προσπάθεια που κάνει ο Δήμος Χαλανδρίου για την κοινωνική ένταξη των Ρομά αποτελεί παράδειγμα για την εφαρμογή της εθνικής στρατηγικής.
Την ιστορία και τα αποτελέσματα του προγράμματος παρουσίασε ο project manager του έργου Ronald Schonknecht (Jugendstil- Γερμανία).
Παρουσιάσεις των σχεδίων που υλοποίησαν οι εταίροι παρουσίασαν οι: Isabelle Jahn (Kontact fur Europe- Γερμανία), Blanka Csabi (Heeda- Ουγγαρία), Lukia Bezegona (Newport-Σλοβακία), Fatma Bajram (Sumnal – Β.Μακεδονία), Horatiou Angelescu (Pro Demokratia -Ρουμανία), Chilla Nemet (Ανοιχτό Πανεπιστήμιο – Σερβία), Δανάη Σταύρου (IED- Ελλάδα) και Ελένη Δεσιώτου (Δήμος Χαλανδρίου).
Συμμετοχές
Το συνέδριο παρακολούθησαν στελέχη και συνεργάτες της Γενικής Γραμματείας Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης Και Καταπολέμησης Της Φτώχειας, στελέχη της ΔΥΠΑ, στελέχη του υπουργείου Κοινωνικής Συνοχής και Οικογένειας Δ/νση ΚΑΛΟ, στελέχη της Γενικής Γραμματείας Οικογενειακής Πολιτικής και Ισότητας των Φύλων καθώς και στελέχη των Κέντρων Κοινότητας των Δήμων Γαλατσίου, Σπάτων-Αρτέμιδος και Αιγάλεω.
Εκπροσωπήθηκαν επίσης οι φορείς: Ινστιτούτο Prolepsis, IED, ΚΟΙΝΣΕΠ ΠΡΑΣΙΝΟΤΕΧΝΙΚΗ, ΑΜΚΕ Αγκαλιά/ ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα Sastipe, Symplexis.
Παραβρέθηκαν επίσης ο πρόεδρος της «Ένωσης Ελλήνων Ρομά Διαμεσολαβητών» κ. Κώστας Παϊτέρης, η αντιδήμαρχος Καθημερινότητας Νέας Πεντέλης κ. Αναστασία Αβραμίδη-Κοτσιρέα, οι αντιδήμαρχοι Χαλανδρίου Χριστίνα Μαχαίρα και Χάρης Μαυρουδής, η γ.γ. του Δήμου κ. Αγγελική Βλάχου, η σύμβουλος δημάρχου κ. Ειρήνη Κουνενάκη, οι δημοτικοί σύμβουλοι Γεράσιμος Λυμπεράτος και Ιωάννα Αθανασάτου.
Στο τέλος του συνεδρίου προσφέρθηκαν στους συμμετέχοντες/ουσες γλαστράκια με μικρά φυτά.
In the presence of the ND State MP, G. Stamatis
The Municipality of Halandri hosted the final conference of the European program “pROceed goes practice” for the social inclusion and strengthening of employment of the Roma, with the participation of all the partners of the program,
from Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Greece as well as representatives of public and private institutions from Greece and the partner countries.
All the good practices, training methods, educational materials and actions implemented by the partners were presented, within the framework of the three-year program that concerned the professional orientation of Roma, their specialization in specific topics and their promotion in the labor market.
The Municipality of Halandri, as a partner of the program, presented the results of the project, which was implemented by the Social Service, the Community Center for Roma and the Environment Service, in collaboration with the ΚOINSEP for integration PRASINOTECHNIKI.
Within the framework of the program, a study guide and educational material for trainers and trainees (certified by the University of Szeged and MASTER KEK), a digital self-assessment tool were developed.
For the needs of the program, 4 employees of the Municipality were trained as adult trainers, while 20 Roma, from Halandri, were trained in the provision of cleaning and green services in public spaces. The Roma who participated in the training did their internship at the ΚOINSEP for integration PRASINOTECHNIKI and after completion were hired with a regular employment relationship.
The participants were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor for Social Solidarity, Kostas Efthymiou, underlining the importance of employment in the process of smooth social integration of the Roma and expressing warm thanks to all those who contributed decisively to the successful completion of the program.
Speeches
The conference was welcomed by the Mayor of Halandri, Symeon (Simos) Roussos, who reaffirmed the determination with, which the Municipality works for the smooth social inclusion, integration and empowerment of the Roma in matters of education, employment and health, implementing the national strategy. He noted, however, that the systematic effort that has been underway in Halandri for the last decade has never received the necessary support from the central state.
The value of the «pROceed goes practice» program was praised by the State MP of the New Democracy and former Secretary General of Social Solidarity and Combating Poverty, Mr. Giorgos Stamatis, who emphasized, among other things, how important it was for the Roma to receive all the necessary support, so that at the end of the program they would have equal opportunities in the labor market, be able to create jobs and build a new life. He also emphasized that the effort made by the Municipality of Halandri for the social inclusion of the Roma is an example for the implementation of the national strategy.
The history and results of the program were presented by the project manager Ronald Schonknecht (JugendStil- Germany).

The conference was attended by executives and associates of the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity and Combating Poverty, executives of the DYPA, executives of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, Directorate of Health, executives of the General Secretariat for Family Policy and Gender Equality as well as executives of the Community Centers of the Municipalities of Galatsi, Spata-Artemida and Aigaleo.

Also present were the president of the “Greek Roma Mediators- Medroma”, Mr. Kostas Paiteris, the Deputy Mayor of Nea Penteli for Everyday Life, Mrs. Anastasia Avramidi-Kotsirea, the deputy mayors of Halandri, Christina Machaira and Haris Mavroudis, the secretary general of the Municipality, Ms. Aggeliki Vlachou, the advisor to the mayor, Ms. Irini Kounenaki, and the municipal councilors Gerasimos Lymberatos and Ioanna Athanasatou.
